Agreements with Universities
Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (Peru)Since 1986, CASP and Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia have a cooperation agreement for teaching undergraduate and graduate students, conducting research and providing services to benefit people with different abilities. Under this agreement, pediatric and psychiatry residents do rotations at CASP, and a course is taught for students of psychology.
University of Kansas (USA)Since 1991, CASP has a formal agreement with the University of Kansas for collaborative research,and a training and consulting program. CASP is an affiliate program of the Schiefelbusch Institute for Life Span Studies (LSI) of the University of Kansas. The head consultant of CASP, Judith M. LeBlanc, Ph.D., is professor emeritus of the Department of Behavioral Sciences of the University of Kansas, and was graduate advisor of Liliana Mayo, Ph.D., General Director of CASP , and Rosa Oyama, M.A., Director of Research and Special Projects at CASP.
University of Georgia, Athens (USA)David Gast, Ph.D., of the Department of Special Education, has come to CASP since 1995 to teach about research in behavior analysis and teaching procedures. He also runs a study abroad program that has brought students from the University of Georgia to CASP.
University of Illinois, Chicago (USA)In 2007, the Head of the Department of Occupational Therapy, Dr. Yolanda Suarez-Balcazar, signed a collaboration agreement with CASP for students in her department to do internships at CASP.
Harvard University (USA)In 2005 the Regional Office Director of the Center for Latin American Studies, David Rockefeller-DRCLAS, and Dr. Steve Reifenberg, began a volunteer exchange program with CASP through their "Summer Internship Program". The first volunteer came to CASP in 2006.
Laurentian University - Sudbury (Canadá)Professors at Laurentian University taught our staff how to make web pages and gave advice on technical aspects of computer equipment and ideas for future planning of distance education.
