Early Childhood Education Program
"At CASP we believe that the sooner you start a child's education the better, because the first three years of a child's life are critical in their development."
The Early Childhood program is aimed at babies and toddlers from birth to 2 years who have a prior clinical diagnosis (Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, developmental delay). The program is also recommended for those suspected at high risk.
CASP Specialists teach families how to stimulate different areas of their child's development according to their Individual Education Plan (IEP), which is developed based on the results of a developmental assessment (fine & gross motor skills, language development, social and intellectual development, etc).
The program's goal is that families learn and practice a variety of ways to stimulate their child's development, in natural everyday situations.
Why is the program unique?
- Weekly group training sessions provide opportunities for families to motivate each other in a supportive environment.
- The program has a specialized physical therapist.
